Michigan Green Muslims and Wisconsin Green Muslims have three initiatives:
Green Masjid, Green Ramadan, and Green School.
The Green Schools Initiative goal is to educate the formal and informal Islamic schools (Islamic weekend school, summer and winter schools at the Islamic Centers and Mosques) about how and why to be environmentally-friendly, green their buildings, landscapes, and curricula, co-curricula, extra-curricula activities.
